Rainwater Changes Lives

All month long, we’ve been bringing you stories showcasing the last 10 years of our work. Today, we have a short video highlighting what years of access to improved clean water can mean for a real family in our region. Rain, especially in our arid region, is a blessing that quite literally falls on our heads from the sky; and yet, it is often something we take for granted, or worse, is seen as a nuisance. Rainwater is naturally free of arsenic and fluoride – two extremely difficult-to-remove contaminants that plague the water of our region, and, when combined with our easy-to-use water filter to remove pathogens, rainwater transforms into an incredibly dependable source of safe drinking water.

The development of rainwater harvesting as a reliable solution to our regional water contamination and scarcity issues has only been made possible by you and your support. For the past ten years, you’ve been an integral part in the expansion of rainwater harvesting systems all across our watershed.
